Lists

Lists are used to group tasks into logical groups. Todo has three built-in lists: All, Focus, and Inbox. These lists are always shown at the top of the Lists view and cannot be renamed or removed. The remaining lists are user defined and can be renamed or deleted and new lists can be created. User defined lists appear below the build-in lists.

Tasks can be assigned to any of the user defined lists or not assigned to any list. Tasks not assigned to any list show up in the Inbox. The All lists shows all tasks regardless of the list it's assigned to. The Focus list can show tasks based on user defined preferences including due date, priority, completion, and list assignment.

The Lists view (shown above) has five icons on the Toolbar. From left to right these are: Synchronization, Context Selector, Tags Selector, Search, and Settings. By selecting a Context or a set of tags, the tasks will be scoped to the selections and the badge counts will change to reflect the selected Context and Tags.

By selecting the "Errands" context, the tasks were scoped to reflect only those tasks belonging to the "Errands" context. When Contexts or Tags are selected, the icon in the toolbar will be modified to indicate something is selected and a status bar will appear at the top indicating the selected Context or Tags.
