Sideloading our Android app
Sideloading an Android app involves installing an application onto your device manually, without going through the official Google Play Store. This can be useful for various reasons, such as testing beta versions, accessing apps not available in the Play Store, or installing custom builds. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the process of sideloading the Todo Cloud Android app.
Before You Begin: Before sideloading any app, make sure that your device allows installations from unknown sources. To do this, navigate to your device’s settings, then select “Security” or “Privacy,” and enable the “Unknown Sources” option. Keep in mind that enabling this option can expose your device to potential security risks, so only install apps from trusted sources.
Step 1: Download the Todo Cloud APK The first step is to obtain the APK (Android Package) file for the Todo Cloud app. You can find this file on the download page of the official Appigo website
Step 2: Locate the APK File Once the download is complete, locate the Todo Cloud APK file on your device. This is usually in the “Downloads” folder, but it may vary depending on your device and the browser you used for the download.
Step 3: Enable Installation from File Manager Before you can install the APK, you may need to grant permission to your file manager to install apps. Open your file manager, navigate to the folder containing the Todo Cloud APK, and grant the necessary permissions.
Step 4: Install the Todo Cloud App Tap on the Todo Cloud APK file to start the installation process. You’ll likely be prompted to confirm the installation and may need to agree to the app’s permissions. Review these permissions and proceed with the installation.
Step 5: Open Todo Cloud Once the installation is complete, you can open the Todo Cloud app from your device’s app drawer. Log in with your Todo Cloud account or create a new one if you don’t have an account yet.
Step 6: Disable Unknown Sources For security reasons, it’s recommended to disable the “Unknown Sources” option in your device’s settings after sideloading the Todo Cloud app. This helps prevent the accidental installation of apps from untrusted sources.
